Meet Alyssa.
Alyssa Veltre is an honors graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in Journalism and Digital Multimedia and an Advanced Editing Certification from The Poynter Institute for Media Studies. She is a member of the American Copy Editors Society and a Lambda Pi Eta alumna. She was also Seton Hall’s Excellence in Writing 2018 Scholarship recipient and one of only 42 inducted members of Seton Hall’s Pirate Press Club for excellence and leadership in academic journalism.
She was nominated to speak at the American Core Texts and Colleges Conference in 2019 for her research on inter-religious communication and has interviewed multiple scholars through the Institute for Religious Communication on the topic of telecommunications as a human right. She has additional experience in layout design, user experience, search engine optimization, and graphic design for web and print. With over 200 published articles, she has served in multiple editing roles and as a writing coach.
